Wi-Fi is available in the elegant guest lounge free of charge. There are also games and books for guests to enjoy during their stay. Flowers, fruit and wine/champagne can be provided for special occasions on request. Castle Hill is a licensed guest house, we have a selection of wines for guests to enjoy during their stay.DVD players have recently been added to all our rooms and we have a small library of DVD’s in the guest lounge.
Dining Options
You will enjoy your delicious breakfast in the modern, spacious south facing dining room which is light, airy and has a triple aspect enjoying views over Summerhouse Hill. It’s a great place to start the day enjoying a home-cooked full English breakfast. Where possible food is sourced from local suppliers. The eggs are all free range and the meat is from a local farm shop. The greengrocers opposite provides our fruit and vegetables. We believe in serving food which is produced locally so that we can support independent suppliers and provide fresh, tasty food that hasn’t travelled very far. We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements, just let us know what we need to provide.

Accessibility Information
Castle Hill Guest House was built in 1891 and is accessed from the street by four steps. All of our rooms are on the first or second floor and can only be accessed by using the staircase. Castle Hill is unfortunately unsuitable for wheel chairs. There is a toilet on the ground floor. If you have any concerns regarding access please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do everything we can to help.
Children’s Facilities
Children of all ages are welcome at Castle Hill. We can provide a high chair, travel cot, bottle warmer and steriliser. We have a sofa bed in the balcony suite and a z-bed which can be added to any of the other suites for children under 10 to use. There are also games and books in the guest lounge for children to enjoy.
Parking
Castle Hill does not have it’s own parking. The car park is less than 50 metres away and can be seen from the guest house. Parking costs £5 for 24 hours and we can provide you with any tickets that you may need during your stay.

The Guest House does not have it’s own parking. Please park outside to offload your bags and get checked in. The carpark is less than 50 metres away. We can provide you with 24 hour tickets which cost £3.50.
